Week 2 of my 180 day challenge

I have completed my first week and I am almost half way done my second week.  I have been sticking to my Ultimate Reset diet, I had one, sort of, cheat day, which was Mother's day.  I did not go overboard so it wasn't all bad.

As far as my workouts are going, in my first week, I did P90X3 and I am currently doing the first week of Body Beast.  I really like the difference of the two and neither one is overwhelming in regards to time.  I have also been running a couple times a week a and this is where my diet affects me the most.  I don't seem to have the same amount of energy that I use to and really struggle with my pace.  I usually run when I get home from work and I don't usually have a snack until I get home and it just isn't enough to fully fuel my run.

As far as weight loss goes, I am down about 8lbs, and I feel really good.  I continue to have Shakeology every day and usually eat a lean protein for dinner to keep my strength up.

Overall I am feeling good and I feel like my body is starting to change a little, (ie: losing some of my gut).

The start of my 180 day challenge

This is the Get Ripped part of my blog.  I am about to get started on a 180 day challenge.  I am going to do a hybrid workout with 90 day of P90X3 and Body Beast, by alternating weeks of each program.  I am going to start with P90X3 and then the following week do Body Beast and so on until I have completed both programs.

I am going to try to stick to a very strict diet.  My with is starting to do the Ultimate reset and I am going to do most of it with her but add a little more protein so that I can workout.

I am doing this to lose body fat and try to get ripped, so to speak.

Here is my before pictures and measurements:

 My stats are:

Chest: 42"
Upper Arm right: 13"
Upper Arm Left: 13 1/2
Waist: 36 1/2
Hips: 36
Thigh Right: 22 1/4
Thigh Left: 22 1/4
Starting Weight: 174

I will be doing a weekly update, so that you can see how it is going as well as to keep me on track.

Introduction to who I am and what this blog is about.

I would like to start by telling you a little about me, I'm 46 years old, a father of 2 great kids, I know everybody says that but for me it's true, and have been married to my beautiful wife, Sue, for almost 20 years.  We currently own our own business and I have started a Beachbody coaching business.

This blog is going to be about me getting into the best physical and financial shape of my life.  For me physical shape I will be writing about my diet  as well as doing Beachbody programs.  I am starting by doing a hybrid of P90X3 and Body Beast.  I will be alternating week to week, one week P90X3 and the following week Body Beast until both are complete.  I will be posting photos, and doing little videos along the way, so that you can see the progress that I hope I will be making.  I will also track what I eat.

I am also going to write about my journey into becoming a successful Beachbody coach.  I became a Beachbody Coach because I not only believe in the products but I believe in the company.  I have been doing Beachbody programs for well over 5 years and I feel the they are all good in their own way. I have done, P90X, P90X2, P90X3, Body Beast, T25, Asylum, Insanity and the Ultimate Reset.  I found that they all work, as long as you stick with them and follow a healthy diet.  I also drink Shakeology everyday, so as you can see I am a firm believer in what they create.

I will also tell you alot about what being a Beachbody coach entails.  How to become one and why you would want to. What Beachbody does to help and advantages to becoming a Beachbody coach.

Thanks for reading and let me know if you have any questions or comments!
